Sam Harris is an Australian model, presenter and media personality, and one of the country’s most recognised Indigenous figures in fashion. A proud Dunghutti woman, Sam began her modelling career at just 13 and has since built an impressive career spanning fashion, television, media and advocacy.

Throughout her career, Sam has appeared on the covers and pages of some of Australia’s leading fashion publications, including Vogue Australia, marie claire and InStyle, and has walked for renowned Australian designers including Alex Perry, Lisa Ho and Carla Zampatti. She has also worked with legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier and held ambassador roles with major brands including L’Oréal Paris, David Jones and Swisse.

Beyond modelling, Sam has established herself as a familiar television and media personality, appearing on Dancing with the Stars and as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under. Alongside her work in fashion and entertainment, she has consistently used her platform to advocate for greater representation of Indigenous Australians within the media and fashion industries. Sam is also a Goodwill Ambassador for World Vision Australia and has supported organisations and initiatives including WWF and OCRF.

In 2025, Sam added author to her growing list of achievements with the release of her autobiography, 'Role Model', sharing her journey through more than two decades in the fashion industry alongside the powerful story of her mother, Myrna Davison. More recently, Sam entered an exciting new chapter personally, welcoming her first daughter, Bella, with husband Luke Hunt in November 2025.

Now balancing motherhood with her ongoing work across fashion, media and advocacy, Sam continues to evolve her platform while remaining a respected and influential voice within the Australian industry.
